Well done to the 21 Members who took to the trails at Fourth Crossing early on Sunday morning, no doubt it was a chilly start to the day!

Place getters were:

8km Female – Alicia Anlezark 1:04:00

Male – Rikky Bangert 42:33, Elliot Bangert 48:25 and Fred Bangert 49:38

14km Female – Carissa Hickey 1:39:27, Alison Spurway 1:49:47 and Alison Broughton 1:50:19

Male – Sam Collins 1:15:58, Iain McLean 1:24:49 and Joel Broadfoot 1:26:30

 

It started off fresh and chilly before the clouds cleared and the sun was shining for 70 members at Endeavor Oval later Sunday morning. Jenny Zhang was declared the handicap winner after completing the 2.8km distance in 28:40.

Place getters today were:

2.8km Female – Nicole Williamson 11:45, Alicia Anlezark 16:42 and Lyn Rummery 18:15

Male – Peter Finlay 11:58, Jack Daintith 12:28 and Hugh Corcoran 12:33

5.6km Female – Tanya Connolly 31:47, Belinda McCauley 33:59 and Mel Bolton 38:09

Male – Alistair Merrifield 28:57, Charlie Brown 29:11 and Michael Halls 30:47

8.4km Female – Bec Davis 46:40 ,Karen Mudge 49:29 and Kelly Jurd 50:48

Male – Hugh Daintith 39:13, John Connolly 44:12 and Alex Irwin 48:35

11.3km Female – Leanne Corcoran 49:23, Kinisha Roweth 1:03:33 and Jane Fairgrieve 1:10:23

Male Anthony Daintith 54:51, Joel Broadfoot 55:29 and Mike Cooper 56:17

 

Wednesday night’s club run at Elephant Park saw numbers down slightly with 56 runners and walkers tackling the course with Mitch Williamson returning to run 10:39 and record the fastest time of the night. New member Jack Munckton 11:34 was second fastest male and Hugh Daintith beat dad into third spot with a time of 11:38.

Carissa Hickey 12:15 was the leading female closely followed by Alicia Ross 12:23 and Lily Craig 12:43.

Mark Mori ran a 10s Personal Best in running 12:29 for the 3 laps to be the overall handicap winner.

Other PB’s were ran by Alex McLean 20s, George Hogg 34s, Trent Brown 18s and Anne Maree Ryan 3s.

 

The Sunday Club run is at Stagecoach Road starting at 9am with 2km, 3km, 5km, 8km and 12km distances available. Snow is forecast so it will be cold so make sure you dress appropriately.

 

This weekend will see some of our club members competing at City 2 Surf and in the following weeks, Mudgee Running Festival 18th August and Dubbo Stampede 25th August.
