July 18th run is an oldie but a goodie. Keep your eyes peeled on the Facebook page to know details.  

Last Sunday, 70 members attended our run at Endeavour Oval, where you could choose to complete 1 to 4 laps around the loop. A huge thank you to those that worked at the BBQ so that everyone could enjoy a sausage sandwich after they finished their run.

Thank you to Mitch Essex for organising the first trail run in a while, wandering through Kinross Forest. With the cool conditions, the first male home in the 10km course was Mitchell Lloyd in a time of 46:23. The first female home was Alison Spurway in a time of 1:22:43. Well done to all that completed the run. 

With the snow and cold weather, we were presented with on Wednesday, it was decided to cancel the run for everybody’s benefit.

Medal achievers this week; Karren Skelton 50 runs and a massive congratulations to Glenys Rosser for achieving 800 runs. 

Tomorrow’s run is at Pinnacle. The distances that most likely will be available pending the weather is; 3km, 7km and 10km. Also putting out a reminder, that we are still operating under COVID-19 regulations. On Wednesday’s, timing begins at 4pm and will cease at 5:15pm. On Sunday’s, you must start between 8.30am and 9am. On both days still encouraging members to arrive, run and depart.

The safety guideline for this week is related to the weather. With the snow and cold weather, we have had this week if you are attending our run on Sunday, please dress appropriately for the conditions. 

Race briefs/announcements/presentations are still cancelled on a Wednesday– this will instead be done via email and on the Facebook page. On Sunday’s we will now have a briefing at 8:30 just before the running begins.
