The regular weekend run was held at Stagecoach Road, where 57 runners had the choice of 2k, 3k, 5k and 8.5k routes. The first 3 finishers by gender for each distance are as follows:2K – Male: Cameron Ross (10:21), Jared Sullivan (11:56) and Oscar Chandler-Sullivan (12:02). Female: Denise Quinlan (22:21), Matilda and Fran Donoghue (34:02)

3K – Male: Oliver Chandler-Sullivan (16:00), John Hannan (26:00). Female: Ella Lamrock (16:50), April Nonnenmacher (34:04)

5K – Male: Noah Lamrock (23:16), Lachlan Ross (24:46) and High Daintith (25:48). Female: Alicia Ross (28:12), Penny Chandler (28:19) and Alison Spurway (29:39).

8.5K – Male: Mitch Essex (38:10), Daryl Roweth (41:05) and Paul Centofanti (44:25). Female: Ursula Wilson (41:29), Jane Fairgrieve (51:59) and Kim Jarvis (53:45).

A giant thumbs up to all who participated, Banjo Reeves was declared the winner

The Wednesday afternoon Elephant Park 3 lap handicap event saw 58 competitors take part in surprisingly warm conditions. The fastest men were Adam Reeves (11:16), Rikky Bangert (11:17) and Noah Lamrock (11:22). The fastest ladies were Ursula Wilson (12:27), Eva Keegan (12:41) and Ella Lamrock (12:46). Fastest lap of the Elephant Park circuit was clocked by Rikky Bangert at 3:32 for his first lap. PB’s were achieved by Eva Keegan (8s), Anna Daintith (9s), Freya Keegan (41s), John Betts (27s), Hugh Daintith (5s), and Tiffany McCormick (40s), who was also declared the winner. Well done to all who took part.

The Spring calendar is now out, with many exciting runs in scenic locations planned, with the monthly trail runs continuing. This Sunday sees the club back at Elephant Park, where members have 1-6 laps of the regular 1.6km circuit. starting at 9am.

Next Wednesday 20 September sees the first event in the 2017 Junior Spring Racing Carnival. Depending upon the age group, competitors will run between 1 and 3 laps. The first race will start at 5pm. Senior club members will start after the last junior race has started.

There will be a presentation after each race where ribbons will be presented to first, second and third boy and girl in each age group. Full details available on the Website or Facebook
