We had 89 runners at the Botanic Gardens on Sunday in warm but beautiful running weather.

The leading runners over the distances were:
1.6km – Female – Charlotte Meiring 8:06, Jean Meiring 8:33, Claire Blair 9:26.
Male – Michael Sharp 8:21, Simon Lun 9:02, Cameron McLean 20:35.
3.2km – Female – Alicia Ross 16:12, Kelly Jurd 17:35, Claire Gates 19:15.
Male – Iain McLean 12:44, Jai Anlezark 15:22, Cameron Ross 16:12.
4.8km – Female – Leanne Corcoran 21:02, Hannah Chapman 25:23, Julie Fitzpatrick 30:10.
Male – Mark Thomas 21:17, Logan Whiteley 21:18, Tony Fitzpatrick 24:00.
6.4km – Female – Anna Daintith 47:13, Alison Spurway 57:11.
Male – Richard Hogg 36:03, Steven Wensley 36:20, Daniel Wallace 39:08.
8km – Female – Karren Skelton 54:06.
Male – Sam Collins 36:56, Hugh Daintith 39:09, Ryan Marshall 42:41.
9.6km – Female – Ayako Kusui 49:16, Alicia Anlezark 50:12, Kim Jarvis 1:01:50.
Male – Brad Simmons 42:31, Eddie Feeney 43:35, Daryl Roweth 45:22.

Wednesday afternoon at Elephant Park was also warm and sunny. We saw 80 starters complete one, two or three laps with the fastest runners over three laps being Chris Pooley 9:47 and Leanne Corcoran 12:33. Hot on Chris’s heels were Peter Finlay 10:28 and Jack Taylor 10:31. Completing the top three ladies were Alicia Anlezark 14:17 and Pip Farquharson 14:21.
